EMDR and Art Therapy in Brighton and Hove
Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I am sorry if you
or someone you care for is finding life difficult at the moment.
Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task, but I aim to make this as straightforward as possible by clearly explaining my approach to art psychotherapy, how it can improve mental health and what it involves.
I am an art psychotherapist and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist working in Brighton, London and the South East. I hold a Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy from The University of Roehampton. I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) a full member of The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), and a registered member of the EMDR Association UK & Ireland.

Get started with therapy
I offer both short and long term art psychotherapy to adults, children, adolescents and groups
and EMDR to adults and adolescents. I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, attachment, trauma, ADHD, autism and self-harm, as well as sexual, emotional and physical abuse.
I have worked in the NHS and for numerous mental health charities across London and the South East. My experience includes Brighton and Hove CAMHS, Westminster MIND and Sussex NHS partnership. Post-qualification I worked for Brighton-based charity for Young Oasis for three years, with children affected by familial substance misuse. Here I developed the Young Women's Therapy service, serving vulnerable 18-25 year olds. I have six years’ experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents and adults. Prior to training as a psychotherapist I worked for five years as a case worker for disadvantaged young people, informing my understanding of the challenges facing them today.
I currently work in private practice in Hanover. I am also a Mental Health Specialist for FosterCareUK, providing therapy to children and supervision to carers in the Sussex region as part as a multidisciplinary team. I also work with East Sussex Adoption Support Fund.
